Vanadium

Studies have shown high levels of vanadium to possess an amazing ability ti mimic insulin thus, helping to regulate blood sugar.  Studies have also shown vanadium to be essential in an energy transport system called the sodium-potassium ATP pump.  Vanadium has been shown to inhibit this system which affects the transport of molecules across the cell membrane.  The implications of this action are not yet known.

Vanadium has also been shown to regulate the circulatory system, regulate blood sugar, and reduce cholesterol in the blood as well as reduce deposits in the central nervous system.
